Remember dads despite the heat and cows... living in Fresno does have its benefits. Here in Fresno we have easy access to plenty of local farm markets with gobs of fruit, nuts, eggs and more. Becoming a dad doesn't mean you have to have Low-T...
It turns out daddies are losing more than just sleep after a child arrives. New fathers also experience a sharp decline in levels of the male sex hormone testosterone.

Did you know that August and September have highest number of newborn babies? In case you didn't know this is not a new trend according to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics as reported by www.LifesLittleMysteries.com. Since 1990 August and September have been making more men into daddies and wrecking their hormone levels. Sheesh.
In species in which males care for young, testosterone (T) is often high during mating periods but then declines to allow for caregiving of resulting offspring. This model may apply to human males, but past human studies of T and fatherhood have been cross-sectional, making it unclear whether fatherhood suppresses T or if men with lower T are more likely to become fathers.
Did you know that men who become dads typically have lower levels of testosterone (Low-T) than single men? A recent study of 600 men found that after having kids men's testosterone levels drop dramatically. It gets even worse if men spend 3 or more hours a day with their kids. Researchers say that this may be do to our evolutionary history instead of bad luck or watching too much Dancing with the Stars.
Increase Your T-Levels Through Good Eatin'
While most men know that exercising can improve their testosterone levels many dads are sadly unaware that their diet can also help. It's not just about sweating and pumping iron. Dads need to eat right too.
